About the event

Deep Grounding: LGBTQIA Resilience is a guide for difficult times with Jess Dallman from Natural Wisdom Counseling.

It is normal to experience anxiety, despair, and/or mental health struggles while social inequity, political tension, and environmental disasters plague our news feeds and communities. While we may be facing modern threats as issues, it is not new for the LGBTQIA+ community to be threatened--or to find creative ways through the trials and tribulations. Join us to take a step back the day before election day to remember the historical resilience of LGBTQIA+ folx, and the wisdom of community and belonging. We are in this together.


Jess will speak in the library's public meeting room from 6-7 PM. The remaining hour is optional and reserved for sharing and support. This is not a library sponsored event. It is, however, made possible by a grant from the Mount Horeb Community Foundation. Please RSVP if…
